The client required full-scale body parts—including bumpers, fenders, hood assemblies, and rear panels—for 

vehicle modification and assembly testing. To avoid the high costs and long lead times associated with traditional 

mold making, they opted for 3D printing technology.


All the parts shown in the photos were printed directly on the DOWELL3D large-format printer. For components 

exceeding the printer's single-build volume, the client split the digital models into sections, printed them individually, 

and then assembled and post-processed the pieces. The finished parts were ready for direct installation onto 

the vehicle for assembly and testing.
